Our business, 8 Point Building Inspections, recently completed a pre-purchase building, termite and pest inspection for a client in Brunswick, Victoria. The client was looking to purchase a double storey, 3 bedroom terrace house and wanted to ensure that there were no major defects or problems with the property before making an offer.
We inspected the property and found that there were some minor building defects, including some cracked tiles in the bathroom. We advised the client that before signing contracts, they should engage the relevant trades to provide quotes on the required rectification works so they were aware of the costs involved.
